Short Bio:

My name is Martin Huang and I am currently a masters student at California State University, Fullerton studying Instructional Design & Technology. This is my last semester and I am on my way to graduating in May 2019. Before enrolling in this field, my study was in Computer Information Systems as my undergrad at California State University, Los Angeles and my skills consist of hardware & technology and web developing. I chose Instructional Design because when I was working as a Network Tech at a middle school, I notice the great elearning software the students were using such as abcmouse, starfall etc. Since I have a strong passion in education and seeing students succeed, I wanted to design elearning content. I chose this internship in hopes to be challenged and gain experience in the instructional design field. My hobbies include basketball, snowboarding, and being in the outdoors as it really calms me and let my mind think freely. The teacher that really made an impact on my life would be my professor at California State University, Los Angeles. This professor’s name was Dr. Wang and she was my Computer Information Systems professor. She made a huge impact on my life when I was questioning about my career in the future. She gave me very helpful insight on what to look into and really made me comfortable being able to talk to her. The most important step was when I switched over from being a web developer to taking my masters for Instructional Design and Technology. Dr. Wang told me about Instructional Design and how it is up and growing now in our industry. It also was my interest at the time and Dr. Wang made it very clear about how Instructional Design can help me in the long run.
