My name is Christian Scully and I am currently attending James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. My area of study is called the Study of Media Arts & Design, or SMAD for short, with a concentration in Interactive Design. My work focuses on the use of HTML & CSS, along with aspects of Javascript. Jquery, and Bootstrap, to create effective and interactive content on the web. I hope one day to become an adequate UX designer, using my background in the Adobe Creative Cloud to reach my goals, as well. In addition to my concentrated area of study, I am also pursuing a minor in Sport Communication at JMU, an interest of mine that I truly enjoy. That being said, one of my professors within this minor, Mr. Curt Dudley, has impacted me the most at my time in college. Curt consistently brought an upbeat attitude to class, showing his care for the craft of broadcasting. Even though the area of study may not be a career path for me, I was moved by Curt in his determination to show our class what it meant to be an outstanding individual in any field of choice. I plan to redirect his determination into that of my own as I take my first steps into the professional world.
